It is ideal for bedrooms, bathrooms, and other quiet indoor spaces where traditional motion sensors fall short. Instead of complicated parameter adjustments, only the detection distance needs to be set to prevent false triggers.
RGB Light with Visual Status Indication：The built-in RGB light is not only for ambient lighting, but also works as a visual indicator for presence, automations, or system status. Different colors or brightness levels can be used to clearly show room occupancy or smart home states at a glance.
Presence + Light, Designed to Work Together：By combining always-on presence detection with an RGB indication light, R3 enables more natural automations — lights remain on while you’re present and turn off only when the room is truly vacant, improving comfort and everyday energy efficiency.
USB-C Powered & Zigbee Repeater：Powered via USB-C (5V/1A), R3 delivers stable, continuous operation without batteries. Using Zigbee 3.0, it integrates smoothly with platforms like Home Assistant (ZHA & Z2M) and also functions as a Zigbee repeater to help strengthen your mesh network.
Ambient Light & Air Quality Awareness: Built-in ambient light (Lux) sensing and air quality (TVOC) monitoring provide additional environmental awareness to support advanced automations and insights when supported by your platform. Note: Availability of Lux and TVOC data depends on platform support. The indicator light will flash red when dangerous air quality is detected based on TVOC levels.
